Mission Statement: The CCW-IVAS is a protector for female domestic violence victims and their dependent children. We advocate to empower women to break free of domestic violence by making informed, positive choices that will redirect their lives.

Vision: Our goal is to make significant impact on ending the epidemic of domestic violence and neglect of women and their dependent children through intervention,education,and collabration with public and private organizations.

Values:

  • Belief that it is the right of every individual to live free of fear of abuse and violence.
  • Acknowledgement and support of a women's right to make her own choices in her own time and in her own way and that she is valued and respected for her decisions.
  • Philosophy: We are dedicated to interrupting the domestic violence abuse cycle by affecting change on the personal and societal attitudes that promote, foster, and condone abuse.

    History: Crisis Center for Women is a community based non-profit agency founded in 1991 as Loudon County Domestic Violence Crisis Center located in Lenoir City, TN. In 2006, the name was changed to Iva's Place and services were extended to include lodging for Women in Crisis and transitional apartments. In 2008 in the City of Loudon, the Neighborhood Stabilization project was started to provide low cost homes.
